Trimbakeshwar VIP Darshan Suspended from August 13 to September 13 During Shravan 2026

Devotees planning to visit Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple in Nashik during the holy month of Shravan should take note of an important darshan update.

The Trimbakeshwar Temple Trust has suspended regular VIP Darshan from August 13 to September 13, 2026, considering the heavy influx of devotees expected during the Shravan period.

The decision aims to prioritize ordinary devotees and ensure that the darshan process remains safe, organized and manageable during one of the busiest pilgrimage periods of the year.

Why Has VIP Darshan Been Suspended?

Trimbakeshwar is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and attracts thousands of pilgrims throughout the year. The number of devotees increases significantly during Shravan, particularly on Shravan Mondays.

With large crowds expected at the temple, the suspension of regular VIP Darshan is intended to help the temple authorities manage queues and reduce congestion.

The decision also seeks to ensure that regular devotees get adequate opportunity for Trimbakeshwar Temple Darshan without unnecessary disruption.

VIP Darshan Suspended Until September 13

According to the temple trust’s announcement, the restriction will remain in effect from:

August 13, 2026 → September 13, 2026

During this period, devotees should not plan their visit expecting regular VIP or special darshan facilities.

Certain visitors covered under official government or state protocol may continue to be accommodated according to the applicable arrangements and designated timings.

Heavy Crowds Expected During Shravan

Shravan is considered one of the most auspicious months for devotees of Lord Shiva. Trimbakeshwar witnesses a substantial increase in pilgrim footfall during this period.

Shravan Mondays are expected to be particularly crowded, with devotees arriving from Nashik, Mumbai, Pune and several other parts of Maharashtra and India.
