Reconstruction and Redevelopment Work Underway at East Dwar of Kalaram Mandir
Reconstruction and redevelopment work is currently underway at the East Dwar (Eastern Gate) of Kalaram Mandir in Panchavati. Due to ongoing construction activities, entry from the eastern side has been temporarily restricted.
Devotees visiting the temple are advised to use the North Dwar (Northern Gate), which remains fully operational for entry and darshan. Clear signage and barricades have been installed on-site to guide visitors and ensure smooth crowd movement during the redevelopment phase.
The upgrade is part of broader heritage and infrastructure improvements being carried out ahead of Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2027. Authorities have assured that necessary arrangements are in place to maintain safety and minimize inconvenience while enhancing the overall temple access experience.
